Alison is an intellectual property lawyer who advises clients on all aspects of intellectual property law, in particular trade marks, domain names, designs and copyright.

Alison acts on both litigation and commercial matters in a wide variety of business sectors including fashion and retail, communications and pharmaceuticals. More recently, Alison has acted on Budejovicky Budvar Narodni Podnik v Anheuser-Busch Incorporated  (“Budweiser”) in the Court of Appeal.

On the commercial and transactional side, Alison has experience in brand portfolio management and advising on anti-counterfeiting strategies. She also carries out general commercial work and has been involved in drafting licence agreements, website terms and conditions and advising on online digital media issues such as privacy, child protection, data protection and copyright.

Having studied both English and American law at University, Alison completed her training at Baker & McKenzie LLP before joining the firm in March 2009.

Outside work, Alison’s interests include music, travel, scuba diving and wakeboarding.
