Luke is an intellectual property lawyer who advises clients on patents, trade marks, design rights and copyright matters.
Since joining Marks & Clerk Solicitors Luke’s main focus has been on patent litigation, although he has been involved in a wide range of other IP litigation including patent, trade mark, design right and copyright issues. Luke has also advised clients in relation to seizure of counterfeit goods by Customs and domain name infringement.
Luke has also worked on a number of commercial matters such as drafting licenses and agreements for the use and exploitation of clients’ intellectual property rights.
Luke graduated from the University of Bristol in 2002 with a BSc Hons in pharmacology. He then worked for a multinational pharmaceutical company and trained as a solicitor at Olswang. He joined Marks & Clerk Solicitors LLP upon qualification in September 2008.
Luke’s interests include music, both writing and listening as well as films, sport and reading.
